Engineered wood flooring combines a real hardwood top layer — typically 3mm to 6mm of European oak, walnut or specialist species — with a multi-ply birch or HDF core. The layered construction resists the movement that plagues solid timber in air-conditioned Gulf interiors, while delivering the depth of grain, tactile warmth and natural character of a solid wood floor.
In Dubai's villas, penthouses, boardrooms and boutique hotels, engineered oak has become the finish of choice wherever a client wants natural material without the cupping, gapping and warranty risk that solid timber invites in this climate.
Enqora supplies premium engineered oak from established European mills, in wide plank, herringbone and chevron formats. All boards are supplied pre-finished with UV-cured natural oils or lacquers, tested for compatibility with UAE humidity and specified with the correct expansion allowances for the room size.

UV-resistant finishes for glazed interiors
UV-cured lacquers and hard-wax oils resist colour shift under the direct sunlight that pours through villa atriums and floor-to-ceiling glazing.
Sandable and refinishable
The 3–6mm oak top layer can be sanded and re-oiled or re-lacquered 2–3 times over its life — a solid-timber-grade repairability that laminate and LVT cannot match.
